Jempaw is a companion app for dog owners to manage pet health, records, and daily care. We take your privacy seriously — especially because you're trusting us with your pet's health information. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

•Account information: your email address and password (stored securely and hashed) when you register.
•Pet health information: the details you choose to record about your dogs, including names, breeds, weights, medications, vet appointments, daily mood and health notes, and photos.
•Usage information: how you interact with the app, such as features used and device information, used to improve the service.

How We Use Your Information

•To provide and maintain the pet care tools you signed up for — health logs, reminders, reports, and the Paws Assistant.
•To send you service-related emails such as appointment and medication reminders, weekly summaries, and low-supply alerts.
•To improve features, fix issues, and keep the app secure.

What We Don't Do

•We do not sell your personal information or pet data to third parties.
•We do not share your pet health records with advertisers.
•We do not use your data to train external AI models.

Data Storage & Security

•Your data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure with access controls.
•Pet photos are stored privately and can only be accessed through your authenticated account.
•Each user's records are isolated — you can only see and manage your own pets' data.

Data Retention & Deletion

•We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual pet records at any time from within the app.
•If you cancel your subscription, your data remains accessible until the end of your billing cycle, after which access is revoked.
•To permanently delete your account and all associated data, contact us through the Contact page.

Your Rights

•Access: you can view all your data at any time within the app.
•Correction: you can edit or update any pet record you created.
•Deletion: you can delete individual records or request full account deletion.

Children's Privacy

•Jempaw is intended for adult pet owners. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

•We may update this policy as the app evolves. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
